About Cory Wong: Minneapolis-based funk guitarist. Best known as Vulfpeck member and Fearless Flyers co-founder. Master of rhythm guitar and groove.

Album Context: Promoting solo albums ‘The Optimist’ and expanding Vulfpeck catalog. Known for infectious positivity and technical precision.

Musical Style: High-energy funk with jazz sophistication. Influenced by Nile Rodgers, Jimmy Nolen, Prince. Famous for ‘wong notes’ – perfectly placed rhythm guitar stabs.
