About Kokoroko: Name means “to be strong” in Yoruba. London-based band blending afrobeat and West African influences with soul and spiritual jazz. Founded by trumpeter Sheila Maurice-Grey in 2014.

Special Notes: Sold out performance. Encore was cover of “Oye Asem” by Pat Thomas. Gilles Peterson’s interest positioned them as next big thing in British nu-jazz.
