About Cor Veleno: Legendary Roman hip-hop group formed 2000 in Trastevere neighborhood. Pioneers of Italian underground rap.
Album Context: Reunion after 10-year hiatus following ‘Dalla Pianta alla Strada’ (2008). Celebrating classic albums ‘Il Giorno del Sole’ (2001) and ‘Buona Fortuna’ (2005).
Musical Style: Raw, street-level Italian rap. Social commentary on Roman working-class life. Influential in Italian hip-hop scene alongside Colle der Fomento, Flaminio Maphia.
Special Notes: Rare performance celebrating Rome’s hip-hop heritage. Classic track ‘Trastevere’ performed. Homecoming show for Trastevere-based group.
