The installation speaks of abstract relationship between moving images and sound, immersing ourselves in complete sensory space communicates with the architecture and acoustics of Sala Santa Rita.

They are built, through video projections and sound diffusion, a series of “pictures” in perpetual mutation which permeate space, almost in the form of abstract paintings in motion.

The selection aims to tell the adventure of his life and of his profession, also thanks to a series of videos created around the “topics” in which he concentrated his extraordinary experiences and his conception of photography.

The Nymphs Orchestra

The Nymphs Orchestra is the new performance project by Emiliano Maggi open at the Sala Santa Rita, for which it was specifically designed, the 11 September 2015 at 18:00.


Trees transmuted into musical instruments will sound the amazing seventeenth century nave of the former church of Piazza Campitelli.

The Nymphs Orchestra evokes a world of nature with ancestral grafted elements of this, so telling the myth of the nymphs through a deep and hypnotic sound experience.

Memory traces between Italy and Brazil is a photographic journey through time and space of Sao Paulo, which for the 150th anniversary of the “Italian migration to Brazil”, reveals traces of many lives lived and suffocated, disappeared but still somehow present in the lattice of concrete that, as a great monument to oblivion, is the fabric urbanistically crazed city of Sao Paulo.

Eternal City, eternal marbles.

A review of forty works, including ten monumental exposed outdoors, resulting in almost all from that of Carrara marble which provided essential food to the unique masterpieces of classical and Renaissance held in Rome.

The works interact with each other by drawing paths, without overpowering the impressiveness of the background, is contextualization with it into a single architectural concert, so that the magic is perpetuated.
